On June 5th Nathan King (one of my co-workers) and I made the trip up to our lot with my tractor and shredder. We got there about 3PM on Friday and worked till 6:30. Next day on Saturday we started about 8:00 and worked till about 6:30. We hauled off 6 trailer loads of limbs and bushes. Lot looks much different now. You can actually see through the trees and see the water below.

First 5 pictures are what it looked like when we started

Starting to clear things out

Nathan hard at work

Pile of limbs, before we had sense enough to load on the trailer as we went. DUH!!

Looking down toward the lake

The vines were the hardest things to get out, they were embedded into the top of the trees.

Nathan thinks he is Tarzan swinging on the vines.

Nathan found several straight trees that he is going to use to make walking sticks

After many hours of very hard work, you can actually see now.

The second lot which we have not even started on yet.

Another shot of lot #2

From the road

This is the last shot made from the road after we cleared the tree line right next to the pavement.
